i need help! i am trying to get video footage onto my computer from this camcorder?
i have already watched the footage on my television, after having been recorded on the camcorder - i am not familiar with how this type of device works - i usually record short videos on my digital camera and it just transfers as a wmp file --- can anyone help?
-this camcorder is a panasonic other labels on the camera say things such as: [leica ddicomar 3ccd mega o.i.s.]
- the camcorder uses a small tape, there is not an sd card in the camcorder even though there is a place for optionally using an sd card

For that camera you have 2 options, a Firewire cable (if the camera have a Firewire port and your computer too) or a capture device like the Pinnacle Dazzle. USB is used in miniDV cameras only to transfer still pictures NOT video.
