does the olympus evolt e300 work without a memory card?
when i take a picture without the memory card,it shows me the picture,and says card error again.when i put in the memory card,it says 'card error' i plugged it in to the computer and nothing comes up.
My guess is 1) this is the first DSLR you have ever had and 2) you have not read the manual where it discusses the use of memory cards.
You need a memory card in any DSLR you may own.
The internal memory found in P&S cameras is there so it can be demonstrated in the store so the seller does not have to insert a memory card to show how it works. Many years ago, stores used to have to use memory cards to demo a camera and it was costing them too much money in lost or stolen memory cards.
It is assumed that those buying advanced cameras like a DSLR know how to 1) use a fully adjustable camera (with some experience shooting with a 35 mm SLR or other DSLR) and know they have to put "film" (digital or real) into such a camera
