Why doesn't my new sd card work on my computer?
I have a 256 sd card that i have been using for years and I just upgraded to a 4gb high speed sd card and it is not reading anything. It works in my camera but the pictures wont load from the card to the computer and the light where the sd card goes wont shut off after the card is removed. I restarted the computer and it still wont read anything and there are a few pics on the card. My old card with less memory works fine in my computer so is the new sd card defected?
could be your card reader. 4Gb and 256 sd have different formats and u might need a diffferent reader. 4GB is a SDHC not a regular SD
