will my nikon camera work with SDHC memory?
it is a NIKON Coolpix P2, bought a couple years ago.
i currently have the following memory:
sandisk 1gb SD
KINGSTON elite pro 512mb SD
microSD 1gb
will SDHC memory work ?
I take it you did not use Yahoo Search to find this out.
The answer is no, only SD cards, 2 GB or less. SD cards use FAT file indexing and SDHC cards use FAT-32 file indexing protocol.

That camera makes files small enough at full resolution, that really does not demand a 4 GB or 8 GB card.
You have enough cards to never run out of memory space during one shoot. I am sure you are copying all the image files from the card to the computer and then format the card to prepare it for the next use.
The backward compatability of the new P&S cameras so they can use both SD and SDHC cards makes the transition to upgrading your camera much easier. The two exceptions are Sony (Memory Stick) and Olympus (xD cards). Moving to or from them makes your old cards obsolete.
