my computer won't open my memory card!?
I just got a new memory card for my camera--a kodak high performance memory card 2gb.
when i put it in my card reader on my computer, it pops up that window asking for the options and then you click open folder to view files, then it gives me a windows explorer error when i try to open the actual folder on the memory card where my pictures are!
Its not my card reader on my computer because i tried my old card and it worked just fine!

Card may need to be initialized.
pop it in your camera and see if you can take pictures and have the camera save it to the card. If not, then use the camera's options to format the card. After that, your PC will also recognize it...
If you're already taken pictures with it... is your reader compatible? Flash/memory cards come in all shapes in sizes, and cards that look the same may be of a different type.
