Memory Cards for Canon EOS Digital Rebel XSi?
I'm getting a Canon EOS Rebel XSi in just a bit, and I was wondering what memory cards are compatible with it? Would any memory card work, or are there only specific brands and types?

Your camera uses SD and SDHC cards, brand should not matter at all. Some of the bigger better known brands are Sandisk, Lexar, Kingston, and Transcend. I am very happy with Sandisk cards. Sandisk (and other brands) have different quality level cards that offer faster speeds and usually are more durable. Sandisk has their regular cards that are good, then the "Ultra" cards that are better, and then the "Extreme" cards that are best.

4GB cards for $10 to $20
8GB cards for $20 to $30
16GB cards for $35 to $50
