I want to build a PC,can anybody help me?
I want to build a gaming PC with the following stuff:
Processor: AMD Phenom TripleCore (8650) 2.3 GHz
Motherboard: Asus M3A78 AMD 770+
Graphic Card: Sapphire HD4670 512MB DDR4 128-bit HDMI
Memory: Single Kingston DDR2 667MHz PC5300 CL5 (2GB)
Hard Drive: 320GB Western Digital SATA 2
Display: 19 inch BENQ G900W LCD Monitor (responding time:5ms)
My question, what is the minimum power (watt) for my PC for this PC to be in stable state? Can this PC play games like Call of duty 5 or CRYSIS at medium or high performance?Will this PC become stable?
Since I have a low budget, please give me some good suggestion to build a gaming PC, I really appreciate your help. Oh, 10 points as your reward...
I'm with Matthew. You should definitely consider a more powerful graphics card. That should be your priority as a gamer, especially if you want to play Crysis. If you can afford it, get a 4850 with 1gb of RAM, as it should be able to play COD 5 on highest settings.
Same for the PSU, minimum of 500w. I have 550w at home but my pc is three years old.
Oh and the RAM. Don't get one stick of 2gb, get a paired set of 2* 1gb. DDR memory is optimised to be run in tandem, so 2 *1gb will outperform 1 * 2gb. Try and get something faster than PC5300, it will give you more headroom if you decide to overclock.
