I have a Canon Powershot S40 camera and need a memory card. What memory cards will work for it?
What memory cards will work for this camera since I assume the ones specifically for this camera are not available anymore. What could I use as a memory card?
The old S40 (released late 2001) can ONLY use CF (Compact Flash) cards. These are readily available.
But, make sure you buy a small capacity CF card only...512MB should be fine.
You will need to Format it before you use it the first time. This is done in your camera Menu.
