Does anybody know how to use Sandisk 1 GB micro-SD memory card to transfer pictures to a computer?

I have a Sandisk 1 GB microSD memory card for my phone. I have a lot of pictures on my cell phone (verizon wireless, LG VX8350) and they're all stored on my memory card. I want to put them on my computer and I tried using the adapter to put the card into my camera and then transfer it to the computer but it won't register the card. Does anybody know how to use these memory cards to transfer pictures to a computer?

There are two different types of adapters you can get for the microSD cards. From the way it sounds you have the adapter that is a memory card itself that you slide the microSD into. These don't work in cameras. But if you have a newer computer, there is a SD/MS memory card slot (on the side if it's a laptop and on the front of the tower if it's a desktop).

If you have an older computer, you will need to get a USB memory card adapter. The microSD card will slide into a slot on the USB stick and that stick goes into a USB slot on the computer.

You can buy these at any wireless store. Usually they will have some in stock. Otherwise you can always try ebay or another online accessory store.
