Windows 7 Install Problems?
I am thinking of installing windows 7, i have downloaded it but when i check compatibility when installing it says it may effect these:
Human Interface Devices: HP Remote Control HID Device
System devices: NVIDIA nForce System Management Controller
IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers: Ricoh Memory Stick Controller
IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers: Ricoh SD/MMC Host Controller
IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers: Ricoh xD-Picture Card Controller
Imaging devices: Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000
Imaging devices: USB PC Camera with Mic (SN9C105)
Are any of these important, should i go ahead or should i just not worry for now?
By the way, it is windows 7, now internet explorer 7, or anything else, like vista but newer
Yes, its recognizing incompatible drivers for your hardware. I wouldn't recommend installing 7 on a machine that doesn't already have vista on it just because of driver support. If your machine does have vista then I would go ahead with the install, then go to the support site for your machine. example-www.support.dell.com to download the drivers for your computer.
All Windows 7 drivers are usually compiled off the vista drivers so as long as you have vista support then your good to go.
