What kind of memory has the best read/write life?
For example, I know that FRAM has a virtually limitless lifetime. I.e., you can read and write as many times as need be, What about SRAM, EEPROM, and others?
SRAM is only limited by physical device failure. No limitations of reads and writes, whatsoever.
EEPROM is usually guaranteed for 100 or so writes and if that's what the data sheet says, that's pretty much all you will get. They aren't kidding. I have written plenty of EEPROM to death in my life.
FLASH is somewhere in the 100k or 1 million write cycle ballpark, if I am not mistaken. Unlimited reads.
