MiniSD card, via an adapter, transfers only pix, not video onto computer. How do I transfer the video too?
I have a Sprint KATANA DLX that uses a miniSD card. I've saved pictures and videos taken with the phone on it. I have an miniSD card adapter but don't have a memory card reader on my computer so I've been using my Canon SD600 camera as the "reader". It transfer the pictures from the miniSD card to my computer just fine but the video is not being picked up. I don't see the file displayed anywhere in the card. What's the problem?
Cell phone video is usually is saved as 3GP files. And your Camera saves it's video as .avi. I am guessing that the camera doesn't recognize the 3GP files inside it's host folder (where it files it video and images).
See if you know someone who will loan you a miniSD card reader until you can buy your own.
