4GB Sandisk Micro-SD card for my phone freezes when I put it in the computer, please help.?
Its brand new and has maybe one thing on it, but when I put it in the computer, and click on "removable disk F" it just freezes the "My Computer" window. However, when I take the card out, everything unfreezes.
How can I get my 4GB Sandisk Micro-SD card to work? Help would be appreciated.
sounds like the card is SDHC(secure digital high capacity), and the card reader doesn't support it. You may need to purchase an external(usb) card reader that supports high capacity.
Also, unless the computer has a specific slot for the micro, the adapter for changing to standard size may be shot. I have several SD cards that have adapters that are junk. one adapter works for the 3+cards i have in micro.
First thing, try the card in another computer to see if it has the same problem.
