No! Memory Stick and SD cards are TOTALLY different! They are physically different. Just because they look similar does NOT mean they are compatible. In fact, there are numerous physical differences between MicroSD cards and Memory Stick Micro (MMS) cards. Just look at them!

According to http://na.blackberry.com/eng/devices/compare/product-attr-compare.jsp?url=&products=563&url=&url=&=COMPARE+SELECTED+DEVICES your Blackberry has only support for MicroSD cards. ONLY MICROSD CARDS. Nothing else is compatible.
If you need a MicroSD card, they aren't expensive. I recently checked BestBuy.com...
• A 2gb MicroSD card was $19.99
• A 4gb MicroSD card was $29.99
Clearly, they're pretty cheap.

MicroSD and Memory Stick Micro are different formats of memory card. They are both memory cards, yet they are incompatible with each other.
The reason there are different styles of memory card is because we are experiencing a format war. This is where different companies put forth their formats, and they all compete.
• The Memory Stick and all variants are Sony's.
• The SD card and all variants are SanDisk's.
• There are more, including Smartmedia, MMC, and Compactflash.
All these are formats of memory card. And all of them see a lot of use. Often, a product will exclusively support ONE and only one format. So the consumer will have to purchase different forms of memory and different things to use them in. This means that whenever there is a format war, it is truly the consumer that loses...
