SanDisk ULTRA II CF Card Problem! All Photos Gone! Help!?
Hi all,
I have a newly purchased SanDisk ULTRA II 2GB CF Card that I used to take approx. 100 photos last week. When I inserted the card into my ancient (it's 8+ years old!) USB card reader a few days ago the computer reads all my photos without a problem. (I have an iMac) But yesterday after I edited a bunch of other photos on my Kingston 4GB CF card, I ejected the it & inserted the SanDisk card into the card reader, the computer wouldn't read it. I tried different USB ports on my computer, from the ones at the back of the monitor to the ones on both sides of the keyboard, all failed. I don't know what the problem was so I put the card back into my Canon XTi and got a "NO IMAGES" message on the LCD screen. I'm very nervous because I can't lose the photos on the card. 
Does anyone know what the problem might be? Could it be the card reader? The card is brand new, I can't figure out what might have caused it to malfunction. Thanks in advance for any help possible.
Use SanDisk Rescue Pro software.
Recover all the photos that you can using it and then format your card.
EDIT : for the person who said to get a card reader - Will that be causing the problem on the camera too ?
