Verizon Memory Card Env2
Is a memory card needed to upload music to a phone?

I'm buying an LG env2 this weekend. This phone can be used as a music player so I want to upload music from my PC and put music on it. I know that a USB cable and software is needed to do the actual uploading but do I need a memory card to store the music or can I upload the music straight from my PC onto the phone without one. I would ask the people from verizon, but I figure they will tell me anything just to get some money. besides if i do have to buy one i'll jus get it on amazon.com for cheaper

My phone is Nokia and Im always trasfering music to my phone by USB but without installing any programs. Just when you connect the device with PC by USB cable it will appears to you 3 options on the mobile:
(one of them is Data Transfer) when you choose this option you can open the mobile folder and going to where you save the music and then starting to transfer.

And there's another way to transfer that I use, which is the Bluetooth. It's easier sometimes than the first one if you have just few songs you would like to transfer them.
I hope that will help you ..

Ipod 8 Gb Touch

iPod 8 GB touch - My First Apple Product

ipod 8 gb touch is the first Apple product I've ever owned and I am quite happy with it so far. The main reason I bought ipod 8 gb touch is because it is, in fact, basically a pocket computer. My cell phone has a 3G web browser but, it's very slow, watered-down, and very limited in function.

My cell also has mobile e-mail but it is rather awkward to use. I can also play music and movies on my cell but it drains the battery very quickly. In case you're wondering, I have an LG Env2 (Verizon). Rather than draw this out any further, I'll simply list the pros and cons I have encountered so far:

PROS:

1. Very sleek design, fits well in your hand(s).
2. Simple to set up and easy to customize.
3. Large screen with beautiful color and resolution.
4. Easy to sync with itunes (I just dragged and dropped music and movies from my existing files).
5. There are TONS of FREE apps available, many of which are VERY good. Did I mention FREE?
6. So far it seems to have excellent battery life and also charges quite quickly.

CONS:

1. No camera, however, at least I don't have to worry about scratching a lens.
2. With the glass screen and polished chrome back, don't even THINK about keeping it clean. But what do you expect...it IS a touch device.
3. I really wish you could add an SD card for extra memory but, whatever...
4. The speaker is rather weak and sounds tinny but it's OK. I guess that's why they throw in the ear-buds.
5. Again, with the glass screen, you'd better make sure you don't drop it hard or...well, you know.
6. These things are a little pricey but it is an apple... ;)

Overall, I really do like it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a "pocket pc" with great multi-media functions.

iPod 8 GB touch - I Can't Do Without My touch!

I had an ipod 8 gb touch before and it got stollen from me at my work a few months ago. I was sad and depressed and was really affected by me not having it anymore. I couldn't believe how much I missed my Itouch. So when I got my tax return it was the first thing I bought. I love it! For those of you who don't have one and are thinking of getting one... just do it. I would almost guarantee you will not regret it. The only thing you will regret is not getting a larger memory. Get one!ip
